Order of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

The Rosary is prayed at weekday Masses. Rosary begins 1/2 hour before Mass on Tuesdays and Fridays. On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday morning rosary follows Mass.

All men 18 years and older are welcome! Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in the Parish Hall.  Conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment.

The women of the Guild at ICC invite all women of the parish, who are at least 18 years of age, to come and participate in the activities led for the parish by members of the Ladies Guild. Planning and reporting meetings convene once a month on the 2nd Thursday of the month, at 6:30 p.m., September through May. The Ladies meet in the Church complex either in the Parish Hall or in the Gathering Space.

Those who respond to the call, to be trained readers, who practice and then proclaim the Scriptures at Mass, and other Liturgical and para-liturgical services, skillfully proclaim the Sacred Scriptures to the whole congregation. They allow the congregation the opportunity to engage the words of the prophets and evangelists, while incorporating their insights into their personal lives.

Boys and girls grades 4-12 and beyond, serve the needs of liturgies on weekends and holy days and 'on call'. Training begins with youngsters in the 4th grade and older, who have already received their First Communion. They are placed on the active schedule as they leave the 3rd grade rosters. Because of the experience of the older servers, the pastor invites them to continue serving. Those who are adult are also invited to serve. Sometimes, a parent with a son or daughter can serve together.

Two distinct ministries fall under this title of ministry. There are persons who respond to Christ's call to distribute the Body and Blood of the Lord at Mass. After training, they receive the commission from the sisters and brothers of the parish for this ministry. There are also those, who having an affinity for service to the sick or elderly of our parish, and desire to visit and bring Communion to those who cannot come to Mass on a regular basis each week. These Extrordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are trained in the ministry to the sick and homebound. (This includes those in nursing homes and shut-ins usually within our parish boundaries). They receive a commission for this service by the sisters and brothers of the parish. Then, during the Mass, they receive their pyx with the Eucharist inside and carry communion to the parishioner's residence. They conduct a brief Liturgy of the Word, and share some words from the homily they heard at Mass, and pray with the person to whom they brought Jesus in the Eucharistic species.

Those who respond to this call, smilingly greet and welcome all who come to the door of the church for Mass or service, they distribute the worship aids as persons enter, and if the person/s cannot see an unoccupied pew, shows them to a pew. These greeters usually take up the collection. In addition, they ensure that someone (a family), brings up the gifts at the time of the Preparation of the Gifts and Altar. After the Mass, they police the church environs, making sure it is ready for the next Mass or Service.

Tuesdays 7am to 5pm in the Adoration Chapel. When there is weekday Mass adoration in the church 5-6pm with rosary at 6pm followed by Mass at 6:30 pm. (Confession available Tuesdays 5-6pm).  The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. If you would like to offer an hour weekly to the Lord please call the parish office or if you can substitute when needed please call.

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. 

The Pastoral Council counts among its membership, all of those who through the invitation of the pastor, lovingly respond to Chirst's call to advise the pastor in his administration of the parish. They are the extra eyes and ears of the pastor, as they concern themselves with the needs of all parish members, and advise the pastor concerning those programs and activities, which affects the liturgical, spiritual and social life of the parish. They involve themselves, aiding and/or giving leadership to the activities and/or prgrams, in which they have interest. They lovingly point out to the pastor the programs or activities that are either popular or unpopular with the parish membership. They keep their ears to the ground and are able to articulate the positives and negatives of what they hear.

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Men and women who arrive early and help the priest prepare the church for Daily Mass and/or Funeral Masses. They help to make the church and altar ready for liturgy, and clean up after the Mass. Those who respond to Christ's call to this service, are very helpful to the pastor or priest who will preside at the Masses or services. Their service greatly enhances the worship of our faith community.

Each week on the Fridays of Lent, Father leads the celebration of the devotional prayer, which reminds us of the journey of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord (the paschal mystery). This prayer begins at 7:00 p.m.
